My work is the testimony of a profound change of heart-that vital transition where we turn away from deception to fix our gaze upon the eternal.
Sculpting Hope: The Journey from Craft to Light
The Craft: The journey began as a kid playing and experimenting with raw materials through wood jewelry, painting, and lighting design. This stage honed technical discipline and an intimate understanding of form, texture, and light. Later on I joined the Woodcarving school in Austria-Tirol to master the skills of sculpting.
The Transition: Moving into figurative sculpture in wood and clay, the focus shifted from functional design to the human form as a vessel for spiritual narrative.
The Metaphor: Rooted in the principle "We become what we contemplate most," the work combines this concept with divine redemption:
Wood carving: symbolizes stripping away deception to reveal Truth.
Clay modeling: represents surrendering to the Potter’s hand to be reshaped.
The Purpose Today: Creating contemplative figurative art that serves as a visual anchor—a calling to bring light into darkness and bear witness to a transformed heart.
